Hello, I'm a YS-11. Have you ever seen me at the airport? I am a twin turbo-propeller engine aircraft. I am the only airliner that was developed domestically after World War??. I carried more than 10,000,000 passengers for forty-one years throughout Japan. I retired on September 30, 2006. I want to say thank you for flying aboard the YS-11 for such a long time. My job is finished here in Japan but I hope to be flying again in some foreign countries in the future. I look forward to saying, "Welcome aboard! Nice to see you again." Good-bye till then.


ハロー、僕はYS-11です。空港で僕をみたことがあるかな？僕は戦後日本で開発された唯一の双発プロペラ機で、定期便旅客機なんだ。４１年間に1000万人を超えるお客さんを乗せて国内線を飛んでいたんだけど、９月３０日に日本の国内線を引退したんだよ。今まで僕に乗って、日本の空を一緒に飛んでくれた多くの人たちに、心からお礼を言いたいよ。またどこか外国の空で、「ご搭乗ありがとうございます。またお会いできて嬉しいです！」と言える日が来るのを楽しみに、ひとまず日本の皆さん、さようなら！
